Why are there so few comments for this awesome comedy? I never stop being amazed at how smart and actually funny it is (cough*Glee*cough), and the way it deals with teenage relationships.

nothing can make that shitty song "To love you more" sound decent.
I know it's tasteless, but that part when Jess tried to erase the tattoo off Cece's face, I laughed way too hard .
I disagree. At best, Patricia's collection is a demonstration of various gorgeous textiles and her originality and again, this just further proves Nina's point about she's a great textile designer, not a fashion designer. There is a difference. Her collection reminds me of Rodarte in a way that they presented loads of…
MK will keep trying to come up with bitchy comments, and that's what bores me about him. Zac Posen, who is kinda an average designer, is very insightful. He and Rachel Roy should be on the panel forever.
The designers' introduction is actually filmed separately earlier in a different tent (maybe it was even empty), and then sound/lighting edit was added to make it look like they were there.
I am surprised to see many praises for Patricia's collection. I really like her as a person, and I do think she's full of creativity, but come on
Patricia's: some looks are pretty, some were just total trainwrecks (the first few), and the final dress is still unusually gorgeous. At one point, Zac said something "Who…
Her performance in I've Loved You So Long is perfect. Just perfect.
Yes to the blood-dripping sweater. I thought that was so fucking cool, and that's what her collection is all about: a strong attitude, an extremely cool woman that intrigues everyone and make them want to be friends with her. And her finale red gown was phenomenal. What a beauty.
I thought the whole judge panel was great tonight. They were very spot on with lots of criticisms I have for each designer's 3 looks, and you can't go wrong with Nina's disgusted expressions towards Patricia.
" True, she's not great with structure and tailoring. (My theory about that is, well, look at her.)" —-> No, just no.
I saw Michelle's collection when New York Fashion Week happened and yes, hers was the best of the bunch hands down.
You mean Milan?
@avclub-37fbc3a475dad8f4729a4825ab147fde:disqus Heidi is considered a supermodel because of her massive success in commercial fashion, not in High Fashion. So she doesn't really wear ridiculous "art" pieces like stuffs by Balenciaga or McQueen for runway ever.
I doubt it. Plenty of fashion people have had the same ideology like Nina "Fashion is not art". She talks with a mindset of someone who prefer RTW to extravagant couture pieces. Even all the crazy John Galliano stuffs for Dior throughout the years have to be edited and modified to sell to clients.
I agree. I love the debate last night among the judges, and even John Legend, who is surprisingly great, talked about how garment may not be wearable but at least it should look beautiful, and Patricia's look failed on that aspect. It looks like unconventional-material on top paired with a God-awful pants.
Sorry but I hate when people compare those kinds of dress to wrapped towel/blanket. No towel/blanket would look like that without all the necessary construction or draping skills.
Michelle's outfit, once again, was the best on that runway. I just didn't think the "burnt building" effect she was trying to achieve translated very well on the cashmere skirt. But seriously, her outfit looks super chic (with/without the leather top) and interesting.
Haha, you are right
I absolutely love the "Mean Girls"-esque table scene where Bekka/Kat/Elena just maximize their bitchiness towards each other.
