I'm glad that this show's first season ended on a high note (as high as a show that's about grief can get, at least). In the strategic picture, Go On is one of the few NBC comedies for the post-30 Rock, post-Office, post-Harmon Community, and post-peak Parks and Rec (unless they bring the stakes up again for that

Dan Harmon's dead, he's locked in my basement!

The only thing weirder about the rampant hatred for this episode is that people seemed to really like last week's episode.

I think everyone is just too busy riding on the jock of the late Dan Harmon to appreciate a great episode of Community when they see it.

She also got good lines in the songs. It's really pathetic how shortchanged her character has been that one of her biggest roles is an episode where everyone is a puppet.

The new people running this show are pulling out of the stops, all of the biggest gimmicks and schmaltzy schmaltz to tickle the heart of AVClubers and dangle them with shiny memories of 30 Rock, but they don't seem to have it.

I wish Pax Romana had a longer run. It's way more interesting and nuanced than Rome Sweet Rome, the other "dudes go back in time to ancient Rome" fiction. Neither can hold a candle to Lest Darkness Fall, though.

East of West sounds a lot like Deadlands.

Really? I thought tonight's episode of Community was weak as heck. It just seemed really contrived.

I wonder if NBC picked him because of the network's preexisting ties with that company.

Every episode was incredibly lackluster. NBC is seeing something similar to the end of Must See TV back in the mid-2000s.

What kind of idiot purposefully turns off Daft Punk's soundtrack?

It's pretty amazing how Go On had the best episode of all the NBC comedies tonight.
