Good gracious me!
Good gracious me!
With every single piece of pop culture, you need to follow Public Enemy's advice: don't believe the hype. Not in the way that something is crap (this is probably my favourite film of the year), more that hype can inflate just how great something is. I mostly ignored the hype around Baby Driver (though a big Wright…
Baby Driver also grew from this music video by Wright: https://www.youtube.com/wat…
Counter-point: I like it too!
We would have thrown our shoes all over their telephone wires.
"British accent"
Netflix has a monopoly over those sweet, sweet fireplace films though.
Every frame of the latest series of MST3K looks like the shows last-known photograph.
I actually really like Simm's Master in The End of Time, especially his quieter moments. I, uh, wasn't too keen on him devouring a whole turkey though.
I'm surprised that Moffat has (yet) to address that during his run, since he loves doing stuff like that. He might do it next week actually.
The Doctor put him back together like Nardole.
When Derek Jacobi switches to The Master it is genuinely terrifying, but weirdly charismatic. I'm so glad we are getting more of him on Big Finish.
That is probably what most likely happened. The Mirror are terrible for this. They were the ones that forced the BBC to do a big Doctor Who Live reveal of Peter Capaldi as the new Doctor because they were swirling about leaks from within the BBC.
Wait, wait, wait…you're telling me that Moffat got science RIGHT!?
Twist for next week: the return of Asian stereotypes from The Talons of Weng-Chiang!
The BBC need to calm down with the marketing. Half of the episode was released in clip form throughout the week, there were dozens of promotional photos posted on social media and an insane amount of information was floating around the internet with specific details related to this episode. Like it was really hard to…
The rumours surrounding the Christmas special kind of bring legitimacy to this theory.
Also, I'm sort of hoping that Simm's Doctor is directly/indirectly the cause of the Twelfth Doctors regeneration, just like how his plan pretty much caused Tens regeneration. I like the idea of him coming back every couple of Doctors and causing them to regenerate thanks to an insane, convoluted plan.
“Well I’m that mysterious adventurer in time and space, known only as Doctor Who, and these are my disposables – Exposition and Comic Relief.”
“We’re not functions.”
“Darling, those were genders.”
I agree, and it seems Adult Swim are fine with it too so people should just be patient.
