In just two episodes, I'm already completely enthralled by the characters in GLOW. The supporting cast is crazy good (of course the main cast is excellent too).

I'm happy that Doc Hayward spends his retirement cheerfully fishing and eating breakfast. It warms my heart.

A lot of Twitch players don't do that. Many are chilled, informative and welcoming to a small fanbase e.g. speedrunners such as Big Jon who runs a family friendly calm stream where commenters can discuss games, food and life. It might seem lame to some, but some Twitch players have a nice community.

I wouldn't be surprised if that was one of the influences. The album is chalk full of influences and callbacks, which isn't a bad thing because its superb.
