A For Moral Ambiguity
I thought it was brilliant that Leela lied to a gaggle of orphans, defrauded the Slurm awards, exploited the Humplings, and took advantage of her friends. . . only to have them all thank her for every bit of it it while Leela hopelessly demands to be judged and condemned.

That could be a fun episode to write. . . and done right, it could even be timely. Do you have any thoughts about story ideas?

"Bust A Deal And Face The Wheel"
For that quote alone, this episode gets my nod.

That's not a completely implausible scenario. Season 1 of The 4400 was so boring that I *still* haven't been able to get through the second half of it, but Seasons 2 and 3 were downright addictive.

Fair points by many of the people who disagreed with me above, but I should point out that nobody here is arguing that Finn didn't have a fierce talking-to coming to him, both for his use of the "F" word and for his general lack of moderation and decency in reacting to Kurt. Where Kurt's father went overboard, I

I was adopted too, but I never went looking for my biological parents, in part because I feared something more or less exactly like what happened in this episode. It felt completely plausible and real to me.

The bullies didn't come out of nowhere. I also recollect them as hockey players who appeared in at least a couple of earlier episodes doing pretty much the same kind of thing they did in this one.
