Man, this show hits my man-gina in ways Walter White couldn't even dream of. Wonderfully visceral, trashy, borderline-Victor Newman-esque ways.

I love that the show didn't actually shy away from that gap in their relationship. Luke didn't magically turn into Mr. Star Hollow once he started dating her.

Well put.

The "Mom, what do you do all day?" conversation between Lorelai and Emily was heartbreaking to me.

It wasn't the fact that he had a black eye—she thought it was because he had gotten into a fistfight with Dean over her. Which, y'know, slightly conceited, but certainly explains her desire for an immediate explanation.

Watched it all. Suucked. "The island's cork!" "Look all the religious iconographies in a generic catholic chapel—depth, y'all!"

Between REVENGE, DECEPTION, SCANDAL, and now this, "Crazy beetches am I right?" is fast becoming its own TV genre.

THERE'S A STORM, DOZENS OF INJURED, OUR LEADER IS DOWN, but you cheated on me and also, let's all take turns fucking in the on-call room and arranging proposals.

Also in that you can also fuck super hard while on it.

Uh. Fun fact: that twee "hug-a-world" scene was what turned my ex off Gilmore Girls marathon she'd so far indulged me in. (We'd agreed to skip the first 2 seasons).

You're what people mean to mock when they mock the internet.

Wrong. That's WRONG.

You not liking a character =/= hole in the middle.

….OR you could dare shut your muffin hole before I cut you like butter.

Oh God, Leonard.

I'll disagree about Meredith Grey. The reason she appears like a "hole in the middle" is that she is deeply  depressed and has ud borderline suicidal tendencies due to her mother issues. It's not until season 2-3 that you realize their full extent. Her journey on the show is in defining bonds for herself that anchor

I remember thinking that was a really cool premise for a split second last season (when Amon touched her and blocked all her elements EXCEPT airbending).

I don't think he's… considerably younger. A few years apart, maybe.

"Why the low scores?"

This… isn't getting better. The flaws from the first book are still all there and they're not getting addressed in any way whatsoever.
