…No. Not even remotely.

No.

Plenty of sitcoms did this trope. Friends did it with one of Monica's (Phoebe's?) boyfriends back when they still had the shitty lighting.

I think it's assumed that everyone knows this. It doesn't need to be highlighted any further, imo.

… You have a lot of feelings, don't you?

That came from a mile away. You knew it'd be Roger from the very first mention.

Is it me or was this shit not 10x more dark than usual?

I THINK the point of it was that it was such an impromptu, creative-driven decision rather than a clean, months-of-negotiations type of merger/acquisition (like when the Brits first arrived).

"Do we think Don was especially curt with the Jaguar douche because
of the Joan situation and hates that guy for it? (Did Don ever find out
that Joan slept with him?) If so, it would be especially ironic, since,
as Joan let him know, dumping Jaguar meant her sacrifice was for
nothing. "

Once again, I feel like we are undervaluing the fat, black prostitute we all crave deep down.

This was an A episode if I've ever seen one. Pete, Peggy and Joan personally nailed it out of the park for me.

I'm still not sure what it is Olivia's agency….does but the show has done a good job of eroding my furrowed eyebrows.

"What we be saying when they ain't around?" is my new catchphrase.

I'd argue that "blonde cheerleader" aside, they're pretty different.

Are you kidding?

Okay Community, fans: thought exercise time.

I know. It's so arousing.

"I'll get over it."

I usually love reading AV Club reviews (even when I disagree with them) but yeah, the FG coverage is just kind of ridiculous.
