Boycott Beach Lane
I'm trying to decide what I hate more: guitar based singer-songwriter comedy or youtube viral comedy.

Trey Parker is a gifted songwriter
South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut is the best movie musical of the last 15 years. Who would've thought that the South Park movie would be Trey Parker's chance to explore his inner-broadway? I love this film and everytime I see it the songs are stuck in my head for weeks

A little bit more summarizing wouldn't hurt. It gives context to the analysis.

I just figured out that was actually one of the confused Korean ladies.

Phyllis
What was up with Phyllis getting into the van right after they saw the accountant?

Was it just me, or was his face not actually beat, but just bloodied..like someone else s blood?

The whispers?

On a related topic…
…Did anyone else see Mos Def get beaten up by Christopher Hitchens on the Bill Maher show?

Nation-building
I think apart of this show, like Deadwood, is about forming and functions of society. This kinda came across when Queen Rose talked about the purpose of all the pomp and circumstance she has put into the monarchy. All that majesty and pizazz are what hold nations together. Even America has held onto

Disappointing flashback
Was anyone else also kinda underwhelmed by the flashback? I always felt that Ben did something in particular to lose Sayid's trust. When Sayid told Hurley never to trust Ben, it seemed like he was betrayed by Ben during their time working together. But no, Ben didn't seem do to anything in

I for one am I sucker for meta-fictional politics, so I agree. I would love more details about the truce.

And in next week's episode….
Michael vs the Loan Officer

"Oooooooh my god, you guyyyyyyys!!!"

Is it just me or has Nikki kinda of become a buffet style Mormon? She's drinking, using birth control, having impure thoughts about men in cardigans….Man's gotten bad ass.

Keep reading. I think the way it ends is oddly uplifting. But I'm sure this is a hard book for a parent to read.

Teany: "We don't want HER with us"
Was Teany referring to Marge when everyone was switching cars right before Bill got stranded? Margie asked if she could switch and Teany said something to the effect that we don't want her. Who else could she have referred to and why wouldn't she want Marge there?

I stand corrected.

The Greens and David Byrne
It was so cool when the Greens showed up. Great characters from last season that I was just waiting to have come back. So Selma Green is Roman's sister? Whats up with the sexual ambiguity?

I suppose thats all true. I guess a lot of the fun of the show comes from the voyeurism of watching this very taboo arrangement and the drama that it creates. I guess I was expecting an enraged Bill Henrickson, but I guess he can't mad at his wife and daughter in the same episode.
