A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.

In my experience it's either "Star Wars '77" or "Star Wars" with a stubborn refusal to qualify.
To say "Episode IV", "A New Hope", or "ANH" is to feed the revisionism and erodes their power as gatekeepers of the true fandom.

The thing about sheltering kids from hard truths is that they always find out for themselves, but in an environment without you there to guide them.

I'm pretty sure my media center called me out for not being a true nerd last weekend.

Honestly, I'm a little scared walking up the Metro's escalators.

Yeah, a lot of this DLC seems to be feature patching, not new content. There's no reason for an enemy-buff as new difficulty to be a paid add on.

Same when conservatives refer to racists cops as "a few bad apples".
The whole point of the apple analogy is that a bad apple spoils the barrel.

As someone who's not particularly fond of children (I'd be mostly okay if another child was never born), I just hate "pranks."

One of the things I remember most about the strike was just how impressed I was with Stewart, Colbert, and Conan. It was apparent they were putting on very different shows without their full staffs but managed to hold it together and keep going.

Sure, but Roman has his fingers in a whole lot of behind the camera pies, Talia Shire has had a pretty substantial career with a few classics, Jason Schwartzman has 3 or 4 great roles and some good character work.

Bill facing rather the same moral choice that Clara had to when the moon was turned out to be a giant egg. Except, y'know, not about the moon being a giant goddamned egg.

Great episode. I'm loving Bill. I don't think I've ever taken to a new companion as fast as I have for her.

Counting individually, I don't know if anyone ranks, but collectively, I'd vote the Coppolas.

After Galaxy 2 I felt Mario has become increasingly repetitive and in an interest of lowering the barrier to entry they removed far too much challenge. It never gives you the opportunity to figure out a puzzle it just presents you with the answer.

The Sum Total of My Nintendo Discussions in the Past 5 Years:

How synchronistic, I'm reading this newswire while taking an "awkwardness pause" from watching The Girl Who Leapt Through Time.

I credit it more to the fact that he's got the vocabulary of a fourth grader and the attention span of a goldfish.

I think "What is a street fighter?" is the moment I went from thinking "this is a good bit June's got going" to "Can we get her an MRI, cause this might be neurological in nature."

I never really investigated the wider mythos, but have always enjoyed what I picked up from the videos and songs.

I've never seen Master of Disguise, but I have a hard time believing its worse than It's Pat.
