"Karl's bulbous belly". Have you changed the definition of the word "bulbous"? It not only seems like a bit of a mean-spirited thing to say, but it's not even true. Sure, he's no athlete, but he's in pretty good shape, as far as I'm concerned.

I'm late to reading these reviews as well, but I've seen the whole series. You really don't think that House and Wilson are extremely good friends who basically need each other? Why does any level of love have to be interpreted as sexual/romantic? I'd be interested to hear what your thoughts are on the last 4 or 5…
Oh, enjoy the finale! I hope nothing's been spoiled for you. It's really good stuff. I'll be reading your finale comment as well, assuming you care to post one.
Just finished my seven season marathon of The Shield, and I'm extremely glad that I didn't have to suffer week long waits between episodes, and year long waits between seasons like most of you.
So, I'm 4 years too late, but this episode is worth commenting on. Also, I've just been blasting through all 7 seasons, after acquiring the boxset for a very reasonable price, in the space of about 2-3 weeks, so envy me, people!
Identical twin brother. Sorted!

Well, hopefully this won't mean that we head back into season 2 quality. Also, maybe the new showrunner will introduce T-Dog's brother.

Yeah, I definitely think it was much better than the Lila/Doakes fiasco for the reasons that you said, but I just wish that the show wasn't so afraid of making Dexter more unsympathetic. Surely shows like Breaking Bad and The Sopranos show that audiences won't just turn their backs on him.

I've read the first five books. In my opinion, the first two books are pretty good, nothing spectacular, but fun reads, with few crazy logic jumps or inconsistent characterisations. The third book is an abomination and it's hard to see how the author could ever think the storyline was a good idea. The fourth and fifth…
