Except I feel like Joss is too anal not to be involved. Abrams literally ignores shows the second he leaves (often for the better, see the majority of Lost) I feel like Joss will be involved.

Why hasn't anyone actually made Caves of Steel (and the following books) into a tv series?

I honestly don't thin either Stephen or Steven were involved in the making of this. One just wrote the book and the other just likes to make money off of half assed Sci-Fi tv

That is unsettling because Whedon usually has such a good bullpen of secondary writers. Does he not have any of the usual suspects on the project?

Becoming II is one of my favorite hours of television and possible my favorite season finale of all time (possibly behind Graduation I&II), but I would have hated it as an end to the series. I agree with Roswulf that Buffy could have ended after 3 or 5 and been just as satisfying a viewing experience (if not more so)…

I'll give you that the Season arc of S1 was better plotted than that of S2 but I think S2's better consistency on its MOTW episodes make up for it and put it on par with the first. Just my personal opinion.
