He looks like a skinny Zizek

Yeah, I don't know what it says about me but that largely describes interactions and emotions I've totally had with/for someone (past my teenage years). Maybe "awkward" wasn't the specific term being used but I've definitely been completely head over heels for someone who thought I shouldn't be because she wasn't x,

They shouldn't be smiling, but that doesn't mean that they're supposed to be the straight man. Jon Stewart is supposed to play the straight man (the sane person who's a surrogate for the audience).

It's the tag at the end. Jeff is eating in the cafeteria and Abed tries to sneak up on him and grab his drink with a cape. He tries, (obviously) spills the drink, and runs away. Jeff screams something like "IT'S GONNA GET CANCELED," and Abed screams back "six seasons and a movie!"

Was 2007 really seven years ago?

Yeah, I know. I think my wording did evoke the image of a pick-up artist, but what I meant is what @InterplanetJanet:disqus refers to below: treating women as an alien species. I think the kind of person that we're talking about gets, as you said, obsessed with one single person, but I still think that there's a

So many problems in this post would be solved if you took one second to imagine a woman who is an individual and has agency and a name and a life which are not reducible to the mere fact that she has a vagina. No, the strength of his feelings doesn't entitle him to keep nagging or to have her consider it more

-"He wants to make another movie in the series"
-"Ugh"

Zero Dark Thirty = Erin Brockovich with much higher stakes.

What I don't understand is why the hell it mattes that Damon finds out or why he didn't know in the first place. It's hyperbolic enough that the company has this secret plot where they hire an actor (or a worker who can act, I guess) but what makes it crazier is the fact that they wouldn't tell all involved parties,

I've read this book twice. I haven't thought about Harry Potter since the last movie. It's 3:37 in the morning. I have things to do in the morning.

I definitely agree, @avclub-ca4fc44a59d0201cc7d4f760153cb00c:disqus. I think I was missing the emphasis your example places on the first half of the post as opposed to the actual lamentation over the death("I FUCKING HATED THE GUY…..but I guess not so much I wanted him to die" vs. "I can't say I appreciated his work

I'm not sure how it's that much more different from people who feel the need to express which movies of his they loved and the influence it had on them and so on, which is just as okay. We don't know the guy and thus his work is all we can really talk about without misappropriating his life by coming up with some fake
