I knew that Costello would be included. He's synonymous with ridiculously awkward sex, I would think. I'm a little startled that there are no Joni Mitchell songs, though. She was pretty honest back then. Something like Raised On Robbery would be a flawless example.

Because even The Wire was slightly indebted to The Sopranos. And so is Breaking Bad. And Mad Men. Every major drama since has a bit of Sopranos' blood in it. It might not be the best drama, but it's in the top five, like The Simpsons and Cheers are among the best comedies.
