It's worth noting that the few comedies that make the top 50 are mostly silent films (the General and City Lights, and Play Time is sort of a silent film with sound).  Maybe the reason so few comedies rank is because it's an international poll and comedy doesn't translate as well, not because it's less

What would your Altman pick be? Nashville? MASH? McCabe and Mrs Miller? I'd have a hard time settling on one.  (The Long Goodbye? 3 Women? Arrgh!)

I initially thought that your top pick was 'the Godfather Part II: Lost in Translation" and that you were making a really subtle joke.

Hey, people are forgetting that Winona Ryder was pretty awful in that movie too.  Stop forgetting about Winona, she's more than just a shoplifter you know.

I won't try to give a top ten, but I'll give a top one: to me, it's Jacques Tati's Playtime.

I never really got the love for Vertigo, honestly.  Now partly it might be a dislike of Jimmy Stewart clouding my judgment, and partly it's because I think Hitchcock always worked better in black and white.  But I think Notorious or Psycho are his best two films by a wide, wide margin; I also have a (less-justifiable

Did you never read the House at Pooh Corner? Bears eat honey, pigs eat acorns, donkeys eat thistles, tigers eat extract of malt.

I know you're Here to Help, but Japan's last guy couldn't have "literally [flown] off the bar", because he wasn't on a bar, he was on a pommel horse.  Oh, and everything else you said is inaccurate too.

Kyle Shewfelt is doing the gymnastics coverage for Canada and he's pretty good.  Occasionally inclined to gush, but he does a good job of explaining what the judges look for, where the deductions come from, and just how difficult certain skills really are.
