One…more…week…must…hang…on…
I already reserved a ton of books from the library so when I get home they'll be waiting for me.
Oh summer.

I dunno, of the people at my school, I know, like, two who watch Big Bang Theory and HIMYM and dozens who watch Community, Parks, New Girl…

It's something British. It's being written by Terry Jones.
I've heard BBC?

I can take the Community and Parks uncertainty because…wait for it…GOOD OMENS is getting a miniseries!
Aw yeah, TV, don't fuck this up now.

To those who gain a sinful pleasure from the atrocious things people name their children, I recommend the following:

I weep for the elementary-school teachers of tomorrow.

@avclub-0ae1dd3954ee840075de1395771b6c9c:disqus (I can't reply to your comment for some reason) It's not that people (or I, at least) don't appreciate those elements, or even enjoy them quite a lot, on repeat readings, but when you're ten and devoted to "The Hobbit," which is pretty much just straight-up rollicking

Yeah, I feel like any of Parks is significantly less funny if you don't know all of the characters' little quirks…the first episode I ever saw was from Season 3 and I hated it until I went back and watched the first two seasons.

I didn't mind Tom Bombadil any more than I minded every other time someone mentioned a poem and then we were treated to the history of the poem and the characters in the poem and the language used to write it. Not that such things aren't interesting, but there were just so darn many of them, and they're the reason I

I happen to love it, because it feels smart and it makes me feel smart and it's a hell of a lot of fun. And there's only three episodes a season, so it's not exactly an intense commitment…
Definitely, definitely check it out.

I thought for a moment there that Sewage Joe hated Ben because Ben was with Leslie, and Sewage Joe had that thing for Leslie that was hinted at in that one episode that one time…
…God, what is WRONG with me?

@avclub-3fe1fdfda58715ff89476bc53fe3d5f8:disqus Their children would be incredibly, incredibly attractive and incredibly, incredibly uptight.
They should have a giant Model UN crossover episode, actually, since we know Ben and Leslie and Annie are all really into it. And I bet Jack Donaghy would team up with Ron

Sorry. Burt Macklin, FBI. I dunno who "Andy" is.

Been There Done That. Currently Doing That. If I Had To Pick A Guy. Eagle Two. I'd Be Lying If I Said I Hadn't Thought About it.
Gotta love Andy.

I thought Shirley was about to drink 'cause in the darkest Evil-Abed timeline she becomes an alcoholic. Same thing as with Britta looking at the pizza guy with eyes of lust: they were about to slip into one of the other timelines but it got averted.
I also liked the detail of the pizza guy actually being at the door to

@Scrawler2:disqus Agreed, stuff like that always gets me. It actually felt a bit Parks-and-Rec -ish: no one else can see the truth but our frustrated heroes. But due to the shortness of that moment, there wasn't nearly enough of that, which is a pity since it might've improved the episode to have more lack-of-agency

It reminded me of Ben in the Model UN Parks and Rec episode.
Actually, Annie and Ben have a lot of things in common…they're both teenage overachievers who burned out and had to start over, for one. Hmmm.

EDISON OUT!

I just remember watching "Christmas Carol," and seeing the Doctor's deduction scene, and thinking, OH MAN this is where "Sherlock" comes from! And in "Let's Kill Hitler," with the flashing back to what River and the Doctor were doing with the gun…I guess I just like watching smart people be smart.

THE CURSE OF THE BLACK SPOT Y'ALL!
Kidding, it sucked.
I'm partial to The Lodger, but I don't think it's necessarily the best.

I feel like I didn't end up minding the River storyline nearly as much as most people seem to have because it was all spoiled for me already, so I wasn't expecting big exciting reveals and could just kind of enjoy watching the thing play out without getting frustrated at the plot.
