I was surprised to read the reviewer's take on all the semi-porny stuff in the book. As I was reading it, I actually chalked it all up to the bad influence of Paul Tobin's wife, Colleen Coover. I guess Tasha Robinson has never read Small Favors?

Nope. Aubrey Plaza's character never even asks him about it. The way the plot unfolds ignores that aspect of the ad also. This bugged me a lot while I was watching the movie. I was actually surprised that this movie got a B; I was expecting to see a C+ or B- from the AV Club on this one.
