I never thought I'd see my alma mater La Salle mentioned in an AV Club article in my lifetime.

So Nick, Robin's Boyfriend, is the same dude who was Robin's crush back in Season 6's "Hopeless," and Bob Saget even said at the end of the episode that it wasn't the last time we'd see that guy. This show is pretty good at keeping continuity.

Ideas thread! Because I want everyone to stay positive.

I'm a little drunk, which may explain why I both enjoyed this episode, and also laughed out loud for about five minutes at the hyperbole that is your last sentence.

Exactly. If it's called "Top Pick," make it your actual top pick, not a pick whose turn it is to be mentioned first.

I was under the assumption that "Top Pick" meant that particular show had a good chance of being the best episode of television on that given night (based on either screeners or the episode description / hype).

The Gang is In Media Res.

First time watcher here. Being both a fan of ensemble comedy and a lover of beer and getting drunk with my friends, I felt an instant connection to Cheers. It made me feel, what's the right word? Comfortable? It felt like this wasn't the first time I saw this show, even though it most definitely was.

So we're referencing Infinite Jest on the Whitney comment board now, are we?

It seems stupid now, but I thought for sure that Walt was just going to come right out and say he was Heisenberg. We all know how much Walt hates the idea of others taking credit for his work, and he looked pretty drunkā€¦

The fried chicken bag
Anyone happen to catch what letters and numbers were written on that bag in the picture Hank studied? It looked like a phone number or something. Have we seen this before?

We get it. You can reference Phineas and Ferb in just about any news article. Congrats!

While I do honestly think that Phineas & Ferb is a funny show, I find this whole thing insufferable.

Zack just caused TV Club to implode.

It would actually be comma, then question mark. The official name of the album is Dear Science,

Who is "Hitchcock"?
