    Six years later...

The Ringer is even more search-resistant than AVC, which is something I didn’t think was possible.

I’ve said it before, but Johnson has the exact wrong-shaped face for elaborate character makeups.

Ten years late but I’m grateful for this series, despite the relentlessly spoilery comments.

He also got blowback from people who insisted that he wasn’t truly representative of Black Americans, being an islander. Because there’ll always be something to complain about.

Is there any reason I need to know who this person is?

Thanks to that headline, I finally realized that the film’s title is a pun. What can I say, I’m not the quickest sometimes.

When MAD Magazine spoofed HP they renamed the game after their own creation, 43-Man Squamish. Just make it 43-Person Squamish and game on!

    Sure.

Agreed. I like that the film declines to get muddled up in the logistics of its sci-fi elements and plays out on an emotional level.

I’ve seen the film and I liked it. One thing I really enjoyed is that it resists the temptation to goose things up with a worst-case-scenario plot twist, and plays the premise clean.

I first took notice of Wiig when she was focusing on celebrity impressions. Her Drew Barrymore was uncanny, and her Bjork was a lot of fun too. But then she fell prey to the SNL “catchphrase or die” thing.

“Santa Song” was great and you all know why. Just admit it.

I feel like there are gaps in continuity between all of Hulk’s MCU appearances, and I suspect they’re built in. Assuming that Universal ever wants to exercise their right to make a Hulk-starring film or two, those are the stories they’re free to tell.

So, nobody else saw this and read Helms’ character as mentally ill, but white and rich enough to get away with it?

It’s not about ghosts or murder or anything but COMMAND AND CONTROL is easily the most disturbing doc I’ve seen in years.

Cheers for the LAST NIGHT mention. More folks need to see that. (The McKellar one, not the Knightley one).

    Here is your Crab face

I was a little shocked to find the “Stern Matriarch Forbids Anyone To Talk About The Uncle Who Mysteriously Disappeared But Actually He Never Stopped Caring Even Though He’s Gone A Little Crazy Now” subplot from COCO recycled wholesale here.

“2,000 Years With Carl Reiner and Mel Brooks” should be required listening for anyone who thinks they can be a comedian.
