What DID Missy say? I couldn’t make it out.

Yeah, this was a pretty sloppy ep, especially for a season premiere. The “walled city” and “renegade” plotlines are narrative pits the show needs to dig itself out of pronto.

I’m guessing we didn’t see the Krill because in this timeline, without Captain Ed, there’s been no meaningful interaction with them.

Classifying RAGNAROK as a straight-up comedy is only possible if you completely ignore Cate Blanchett’s murderous Hela and her brief reign of terror. Oh wait, you did.

What makes it a great twist is that it doesn’t cheat. All the information we need to put it together has been presented onscreen by the time Toomes opens the door and proves Ebert’s Law of Economy of Characters.

For Buffy, I have to go with the three eps that close out Season 5: “Spiral,” “The Weight of the World,” and “The Gift.” They cover a single day in tight continuity and comprise a proper three acts as Dawn’s secret gets out, the gang goes on the run, and Buffy almost completely gives up before returning to her roots

I feel like it’s more textured than that, given the unique circumstance, but I respect your reaction.

    An alternate future, I suspect.

Is this the first Orville episode to use a Shakespeare quote for a title, a la Classic Trek?

I didn’t read Ed’s conversation with Old Kelly about dating Young Kelly as an ultimatum. He didn’t say “date me or I’ll date her,” it was more like he was asking permission, with the qualification that if she had any intentions of getting back together he wouldn’t do it.

The most amazing thing about this clip is the extras in the background all keeping straight faces.

    Besides Black Panther, that is.

You all gotta check him out in OBSERVE AND REPORT.

We also got Batroc the Leaper!

Can we talk about RDJ’s elevator shoes now?

    Hmph.

Wait, Black Widow has had 10 appearances? I count only six released films plus the stinger in CAPTAIN MARVEL, with ENDGAME and the star vehicle upcoming. What’s the tenth?

Unfortunately, the best Tony/Pepper moment in IM2 was only in the trailer.

I was hoping for a War In the Pocket mention as well.
