I kind of love that at 80 he’s nowhere near the DGAF zone in his career. Everyone’s still a great guy and great to work with because he’s still working.

    “Fazed,” not “phased.”

And for (intentionally?) spearing that stuffed crow with his cane. Bryant was not expecting that.

Should have tied it in with a Bob Newhart/Vermont reference.

You’re trying to fool me into giving away something. It won’t work.

I have no response to that.

The first episode I ever saw, Lorelai is ranting about her mother: “I think I’m getting through to her, but it’s all ‘blah blah blah Ginger’!” I became an instant fan.

I still think it’s weird that they escape through the floor into what appears to be an extremely well-stocked storeroom and they don’t even try to improvise a defense or a weapon with anything they could have found there.

    “Pumping the breaks”?

There’s a cooler on the floor. That means this one will be cooler than the last one

It’s definitely funny, but with an undercurrent of desperation. The biggest laugh involves LeGros’ jerk boss character and his interaction with a driver who cut him off on the freeway.

It’s mentioned directly in the article! The writers say they left it out because it was creepy and indefensible.

Thought #1. The writers, clearly expecting this to be the end of the story, have absolutely painted themselves into a corner regarding Season 7. The realities of production dictate that the show cannot permanently relocate to London so some tortured status-quo-restoring machinations seem inevitable.

    Now playing

Does Homestar Runner (and friends) count?

(googles to see if Shannon Woodward is a Scientologist)

Looking for the ep where it turns out that, unbeknownst to Conan, Andy is a federal agent and “Late Night” is just a sting operation designed to lure Conan’s long-lost brother out of hiding. The arrest made, the set is struck and Conan is left sitting in the dark.

Legit critics did review the film prior to its scheduled release. Here’s a take from the Toronto International Film Festival.

So yeah, now would be a good time for one of those occasional recaps. Sherlock gets into a proper relationship right before the Scenes From Next Week tell us his serial-killer nemesis/biggest fan is returning to the show? I really hope the runners have something more useful in mind than fridging that nice tatooed lady.
