Kid me’s first real job (I had a paper route before) was in a movie theater and Uncle Buck was a huge hit there, playing for months. Probably the highest grossing comedy during my tenure there, after Look Who’s Talking. (Third, if Back to the Future II is considered a comedy.)

A late show on a Thursday in early November I observed parents bringing two small children to the screening of Seven I was attending. What the cuss.
