A friend of a friend’s first DVD purchase was The Waterboy. I didn’t know him that well so I didn’t press him. Why? Of all the movies to finally own in their original aspect ratio, he chose an Adam Sandler movie?

On a whim I used MoviePass for Upgrade and was glad I took a chance. It’s a nifty little humdinger of sci-fi action, a lot of fun.

First time I got high (third time I smoked), the VCR was playing Dazed and Confused.
