Blinded by his hate boner?

I think the source article just looked at the cheapest Y available before and the current lowest price.

Subframe bolts and a non-structural bumper cover are not exactly on the same order, one is a safety issue that is recall worthy, one is probably TSB worthy (which seems to be what Tesla did):

Tesla service stations arent that rare anymore. Id 100% trust Tesla servicing my Tesla more than Chevy servicing my Bolt.

I have a service center right down my street.

Tesla has always said since launch a small number of Cybertrucks from Austin in Q4 2021 with ramp up in 2022, soooo Thanks for reporting click bait  2 year old “news”??

Tesla grew by 35% in 2020 while legacy OEMs were down 35%. I used to love Jalopnik, but I’m beginning to see this venue as yet another outlet of FUD spinning for legacy fossil fuel based propulsion. Reminds me of FUD claiming there is no climate emergency. Shameful.

Thought about getting a Hayabusa when I was shopping for bikes. It was a little to much sportbike for my aging knees at the time. I got the old man BMW K1300 instead. Less HP but the midrange was fantastic as it would have been on the Hayabusa. No Replacement for displacement.

Since you now have a book selling on Amazon ripping into autonomous cars, is it your financial goal to put out an anti-Tesla article every day?

My suggestion: Don't worry about it. You didn't care what you were flying on before the Max, don't start now. This plane has been under an immense level of scrutiny for almost two years. It's safe.

The Jalopnik Elon hate is always so strong..

SLS is definitely a thing that will happen and something that won’t be cancelled. Definitely.

Am I missing something or does the article not really have anything to do with the crash? Yes L2 systems should be avoided for this exact reason, but in this particular case, AP is not involved at all and the driver had 40 seconds to react and not deliberately accelerate to well over 100mph. Autopilot caps you to

The cars go to a used lot and are sold to paying customers.

Most are fine and they still dominate the market on price and range for EVs.

Cybertruck isn’t targeting the same market. This is a luxury offroad barge more comparable to Rivian’s offerings. Cybertruck is intended to be closer to an electric F150.

But Cybertruck dual motor supposedly will start at $49k and have Tesla’s charging network. Top of the range Cybertruck will be $69k. I sincerely doubt this will do anything to Cybertruck sales.

Agreed. It’s down .02% right now. This is click-bait material.

Raph, you need to join Erik in never again being allowed to talk about stocks.

Yes, I was thinking 12th gen or whatever Eldorado, too! But the Eldo has an almost vertical C-pillar line. Proportions and other bits sort of match, though...
