tires could probably have rfids embedded in them letting the car know what shoes it has. better yet, the car’s traction sensors could probably figure out how best to drive given conditions - tires might have different levels of wear, etc.

I would think AVs and non-AVs could start being kitted out with sensors to continuously generate maps and upload it into the cloud. They could be backstopped by CAD/GIS data from local municipalities and road owners about the dimensions and locations of the roads and lanes. Hell, Google/Tesla/Lyft/Uber/MS/traditional
