I bought it because it's cheaper (with offers) and available now! Between the Kindle touch and the Nook simple touch, I think I'd go with the Nook, though.
Ah, the good old times when we could sit on books without adverse consequences!
Plus it runs android. Not sure how it would work playing angry birds on it, but you could load the kindle app, FBreader, etc.

I'm at a loss as to what's actually news here. That's the same limitations that were in place for the Kindle keyboard 3G. You could only use the 3G for buying books, and browsing wikipedia. Did I miss something?
My (Dell) laptop has a Hard drive password, so the user would never have gotten into windows in the first place. Any way around this?

I remeber I ditched hotmail because my account kept hitting their 50Mb limit (!) and gmail was offering upwards of 1Gb (and counting). I have looked back since, but what I saw made me glad I switched.
