My dad died after a long illness the year before Diana, and hers was the first funeral I ‘went to’ (watched on TV, anyway) and it just broke me. I still have no idea why I sat through it. I was s little older, but it never gets easier.

And it’s brutal on the eyes for doing lots of reading... especially at night before bed. That’s the whole point of these e-ink readers, to provide a comfortable, paper-like reading experience.

I lost my dad around the same time Di died, and I was Harry’s age. I have always, always felt a strange kinship to both Princes because of this. And seeing them happy now (and championing mental health) is really nice.

Not being condescending but you just wouldn’t understand the pleasure of reading on an e-ink display till you’ve tried it. Its poles apart from a tablet. I’ve got an Android tablet and an iPad but my Kindles are what i reach out to when i need to read long form content.

Man, Howard Stern is possibly the best interviewer currently out there. It’s really amazing how he consistently gets people to really dish on themselves.

I always get his name confused with Ed Chigliak, from Northern Exposure. If I’m only half-listening to something when his name comes up, I perk up because early ‘90s tv! And then I kind of slump over because present-day reality.

Right, but this is nothing compared to the high crime of having an email server. No-thing.

literally, my thoughts, verbatim.

Samesies.

Yeah, this looks extremely relevant to my interests.

Oh I’m right with you on that. It is going to freak the shit out of me but I NEED to watch this!

Same. I saw the trailer a little while ago and I was IN.
