I’ll still contend that the 3DS/2DS line still has some legs left (maybe about a year), because it is nicely sized handheld compared to the Switch, and the dual-screen offers some unique possibilities if used other than a simple map/inventory screen. Still bitter that Dragon Quest XI 3DS is not being localized, its

Welcome back!

I didn’t play the console versions, so I’m not sure how they played, but I enjoyed the DS version a great deal.

I’d say the player deserved to be called out for this, but not to death threat levels. Especially since it looks like this was from a solo match, so that means ANY of the players there could have done the same while they were up there watching the event. But instead they decided to cooperate, without any means of

One of things I was surprised about the video is that it looks like the incident occurred during a solo match, not a 50-v-50 or other large team matches. Just seeing that many people cease fire, cooperate to build the platform, and witness the event, even if it’s just for a moment, is just amazing.

A better comparison would actually in the X series itself. At least early on, the names of most of the Mavericks were changed, though not as extreme as X5's.

Ahh, that would explain why when you talk to the dog in the Special Edition, there would be a closeup when played in remastered mode. Thought it was a neat extra to keep in line with the other closeups conversations, didn’t know it may have originally been planned to have it before it was cut in the older versions.

I really like this show so far. It doesn’t fulfill that void of Shirobako or Sakura Quest PA Works left behind, but enjoying their work on this so far. Special Week is just a bundle of unbridled optimism. The idol bit is weird as hell, yes, and should’ve been only a track and field show with horse girls. Not sure how

Ultimately there are just things that just don’t need an answer to, but can be “nice to have” fluff. They may be around somewhere, other than that, yeah.

Assuming Nintendo still hold the publishing rights for all Dragon Quest games for the 3DS for North America (or Nintendo consoles in general.), I really hope that they are going to save it for an E3 Nintendo Direct reveal. I know I’ll get this on the PC, but the 3DS version looks like it has that classic Dragon Quest

Eh. Maybe for smaller places. Relatively larger cities, or busy downtown or mall areas, on the weekends is maybe the best way to play the game in terms of gym raids. Though given when and where certain Pokemon will spawn, this may vary.

It’s odd to seeing the updates to Xenoblade 2 not address this part actually, while they did for the Blade Bonding sequence (which is a godsend). I understand checking field effects for bonuses (though they tend to happen randomly even in the same collection point, which got pretty annoying 98 hours in.), but I would

Not quite, but close. Gorenger was the first Sentai series a couple years prior, but Toei Spiderman did pave the way for what we now know as the Super Sentai series, especially with the giant robots.

Hmm, makes me wonder how much more expensive it would’ve cost them if they used 32GB cards. But since these are Nintendo published titles, I’d imagine that would soften the blow a bit while still maintaining a $59.99 price point.

The higher leveled unique monsters can be terrible, especially if you’re almost finishing off a monster. But if you pay attention to their surroundings, such as when and where they roam or sleep, you should be able to avoid them most of the time.

We need decent single player contest at least teach the players the mechanics of the game though. Unless people can volunteer to help teach you the ropes (I miss the fight nights this one arcade use to hold weekly), being knocked around like a sandbag blind online is not what I would call fun and/or productive for

Happy to say there are other RPGs that has a similar mechanic. In the Xenoblade series, enemies will not attack you if your party’s a few or several levels above them, even if you cross their line of sight, unless you initiate the battle and attack them yourself. Which is nice if there is a quest that requires you

I haven’t seen the original post. But I can only think of what it was. I would imagine it would be nearly impossible to get across “that” new content without being spoilerific, or at least be vague about it. Especially if New Game+ content is being talked about. (Currently in the middle of Chapter Eight)

Speculation at this point. If it is coming to the Switch, Pocket Edition is the most obvious option given the system couldn’t handle FF15's Luminous Studio. There also the tidbit of them using Unreal Engine 4, which the Switch can handle, so some are thinking FF15 proper can be ported to the system that way. Though

Those Blue Shells may damage more than just go-karts. :3
