Y’know, one of the things I’m baffled about is the lack of external drive support, or at least any new word of it in the future. Of course, that can only work on docked mode. (Handheld/portable mode, maybe.)

If Hyrule Warriors Legends is any indication, it should be a surprisingly great port when played on a New 3DS (albeit not as pretty). Of course, FE:W is N3DS only.
For a bit of clarification on my part. Maybe it’s because I’m from a different time, but typically PC would by default mean a version of Windows for most people (or DOS, but that’s a long time ago.), since the majority of games run on it. I kinda get what you’re saying from a “platform” perspective. Other than that,…
The thing is that NIS America has other avenues of selling their Windows/PC games, not only on Steam, but also GOG.com as well.
That’s because it’s either the low resolution of the icons (at least for 3DS, but they also got that upper screen diorama.) or the amount of screen real estate they took. Icons on the Switch has both a much higher resolution and takes up a good amount of real estate, so they had the opportunity to add in more…
Yes! I remember that. Black Box was basically for those who already own Half-Life 2 and HL2: Episode One (for 39.99, I think). Remembered being ticked off when they cancelled the retail box copies, given yup, already own the two. Didn’t remember or thought why in the past they did that, but now I’d imagine it was due…
This reminds me back when Newgrounds would have tiny 40x40 or 50x50 pixel thumbnails, and trying to come up with a decent one usually defaults to the character’s face and that’s it (kinda like mobile app icons). But when they changed to the now 140x90 thumbnails, there was a lot more freedom as to what we can put into…
For the swappable D-Pad and thumbstick, I think I have only seen one controller did that years ago. I want to say it was the Saitek Cyborg. Really wished there are more third party controllers that has it as an option.
I think at the time, I’ve heard it may have been a memory or space issue, having what amounts to 18 unique characters loaded up and be swapped out on the fly might have been too much.
I really miss the font they’ve used in the GBA-DS Final Fantasy titles. Kinda surprised no one has recreated that font. (Then again, it has been a long time since I’ve looked for fonts.)
I was thinking, “Why not a simple geometric shapes instead of those weird shapes?” before hitting the part about ColorADD. Never heard of it, and it looks interesting after looking through the site and see how the combination of those few shapes can be used to represent a variety of colors.
Hmm, may have to check Netflix again, but I thought already they have the Sanctuary and Hades arc. (I know Crunchyroll has those plus some of the newer series up to Soul of Gold.)
Let’s see, along with the listed, there were also USB flash drives (personal favorite), coins, gadget mods (or whatever they are actually in Fourze), and toy cars. Yeah, spinners would’ve been an oddly natural fit.
Oh yes, they are 3D models but mimic 2D not in just cel shading, but animation as well. In a GDC talk with one of the Guilty Gear Xrd art team members, they said “Crush anything 3D”. Highly recommend watching their GDC talk on Youtube, it’s inspiring.
Yup, right next to the inner camera, there is a sensor right next to it, which is used to track your face and eyes. I think that’s also used to help auto-adjust the brightness of your New 3DS as well.
It actually was from a royalty free sampler pack of sorts, yes. I remember an episode of Pop Fiction where they found out the origins of that sample used in the Zelda: OoT’s Fire Temple, and uncovered many others.
Ika Musume/Squid Girl. Though I forgot what episode number this is from, but it’s maybe one of my favorite ones out of the bunch.
As in getting the game? I remember back in college (Digging the receipt, October 8, 2005), and Jon Stewart was a guest comedian for that year’s RIT Brick City Fest. I was looking for Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga for PS2, the first one. The closest Gamestop was on the other side of town. I didn’t have a car,…
I remember a similar game made for a past Ludum Dare themed "Tiny Worlds", "Fracuum" created by Glaiel-Gamer. I can see this new one being a "pure evil" version.
The 2004 anime Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo springs to mind. The opening and ending themes were done by Jean-Jacques Burnel of The Stranglers.
