That 318 was also nearly un-killable.   Perhaps the only truly durable engine ever developed by Chrysler.

Also noteworthy-- I very nearly doubled my money when I sold it.  That may have left me with some positive bias toward that little house.

I suspect they will skip Baskin-Robins and get discount grocery store-brand vanilla ice cream with no toppings.

I understand the sentiment, but there is a very cheap, very EZ-button solution for this: Buy and operate a 1980's Honda motorcycle.

You’re on the right track, but note that the 1993-1996 Cadillac Fleetwood with the tow package was rated for 7,000 lbs. The Caprice and Roadmaster with tow package were rated for 5,000, but could be kicked up to 7,000 with a weight distributing hitch.
