Oh and of course she also literally stabbed him.

Was he teaching surfing though? I thought that was the other guy (the one who referred to Hannah as "that's my girl" or something when talking to Paul Louis at the bar?).

I think the movie can be both bad and as much of a success as a film can be on the short indie film circuit but maybe I have low expectations of (and have stereotyped) short indie films

This show has really done such a great job with showing acting, bad or good, happening on screen.

I really just hope she either does it or doesn't - no miscarriage cop-out.

Who is the actual worst: Marnie or Lindsay? I think Lindsay may actually be a worse person but she seems more fun to hang out with so I am torn

Yes, I listened. I agree they were as respectful as they could be, but I don't think that explaining a con to the victim (however nicely) absolves you of conning them to begin with.

These are not mutually exclusive.

The Rock of Love series. It was The Bachelor except with no slut-shaming (at least not from within the show), everyone was encouraged to make friends and have fun with each other (and the interaction was actually shown on camera), and a lead who seemed to at least approach all of the women as potential friends worthy

I found the Mormon episode kind of cruel (to the missionaries they took advantage of, not to the church itself).

"made false rape accusations" um, what?

I thought, while it was happening, was that the point was that Claire politely didn't want to flaunt Gloria's wealth in front of everyone after just telling them there would be budget cuts (after all, Gloria's wealth comes from the same place as the budget cuts, in a way). But then Gloria lectured them all so…I'm not

Adam is aging too handsomely for them to continue having everyone treat him like a geeky weirdo, unless he continues to demand that he is a geeky weirdo. So I agree that it was good they had him insist on being a geek in his headshots.

Maybe after watching her sister die a drunk and penniless "actor," Mia's mom wasn't so keen on her daughter's goals (and idolization of the aunt)?

All I could think about after that scene was that poor woman whose job it was to go to every shitty one woman show in town for "casting"

Shosh also needs to realize that Jessa didn't force her to abandon the Jamba Jeans girls, she chose that. It's not Jessa's fault just because they're successful and Jessa isn't.

Right? Especially since she already had HPV and freaked out about it (even though it wasn't a big deal) - you'd think she'd be more careful

"Passable" singing voice? Do other people just not hear the overly robotic autotuning? Or it doesn't bother anyone but me?*

Of course - Just Friends. I liked all 3 of these movies is what I'm saying. I think Ryan is a great rom com leading man.

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
Casablanca (obviously)
Hepburn/Bogart's Sabrina
I also have a very soft spot for The Five Year Engagement but I realize that I stand alone there
