Even the scene where Brendan Fraser keeps punching the dude in the face is weirdly wholesome and innocent.

It’s charming in ALL CAPS, it’s a very huggable movie.

I was pleasantly surprised by Blast From the Past. I wasn’t expecting much when I saw it, but it was much better than anticipated.

maybe just let people voice their disappointment. Nobody is saying that these performers didn’t do a wonderful job, they just didn’t provide proper representation.

I’m just baffled how anyone could say anything unkind about this living legend.  I really think it comes down to some people just feel so threatened by someone so talented and successful, gasp, happy, that they need to tear down.  

Giving them away for free would cost as much as selling them. 

This should be illegal. Creating that much waste and probably having to pay close to nothing to dump it, thereby passing the true cost onto everyone else who has to deal with plastics in our food, medicine, water, etc. If you can’t accurately forecast the demand for these trinkets, then you should have to firesale…

Fully agreed. If things looking a little jankier means the VFX houses don’t overwork their employees, then it’s fine! All they have to do is tell the story well.

Agreed wholeheartedly. Not everything needs to be at the utmost bleeding edge of technology to suspend disbelief for a couple of hours. Besides, it’ll all look comically dated eventually anyway, and if it’s good, people will still like it when it does.

The sprint feature is often usde in racing game like the Need for Speed series where the boost/turbo is often only a FOV change to make it look like you are actually going faster without actually driving faster.
