Nope, Joss Whedon and his brothers, along with all of the actors involved, had huge amounts of downtime because of the strike. Joss had written up this thing he wanted to do, roped in his friends and family, and put the whole thing out for free on the internet. It was seminal in showcasing that the internet was a…
Unfortunately, that’s just hopeful projection on my part. The last time there was a Hollywood writers’ strike, we got Dr. Horrible out of it.
I watched my husband play the game, and to me, Geralt was humourless (his attempts at humour were poor and sad), his sarcasm wasn’t witty, it was just jerky, and he was completely chauvinistic and mansplained everything, even to men.
All that’s true, but she’s still way less of an asshole than Geralt.
I call BS on this. Anonymous sources? They’re trying to prop him up for some reason.
Technically, he has. That’s why I was making that joke.
It’s a good thing he retired, or else I would be doing nothing all day but reading his new books. =P

As I mentioned in another thread, I was skeptical—but this looks pretty good, for a teaser.
They’re taking this right from Harper’s bullshit playbook. The Conservative Party here in Canada did a similar thing when they got rid of the long-form census.
These useless, waste-of-skin old white men can start dying out any time now.
I don’t care how nice the animations are, Geralt’s character is still a major boring dick that explains everything he does, thinks, and encounters out loud, and the one reason I won’t play the game.
I haven’t read the books, only watched my husband play the games. For anybody that has read them—is Geralt as big a knob in the books as he is in the games?
