I absolutely adore DA2. I've played it through about 7 times.

It's either fake, or these people took "Antiviral" a bit too seriously.

As long as I can dress like Dazzler, I'll be happy.

If somebody makes you uncomfortable, you tell them. Full-stop.

So he's basically doing the trivia version of cock-blocking. I approve. It's not whether you win or lose, it's whether you win.

Because contentment and intelligence don't generate page clicks. =/

My mom's a nurse and I was a nurses' aide and EMT.

Now playing

Watching my hubby on his second playthough. Since I'm more of a story-oriented person and less of a combat one, I know this game is not for me. Also, I hate dying. And I don't play games that don't have a map.

If you have to hide who you are and what you like—nerdy or not—then you're with the wrong person. Full stop.

I'd rather these two than, say

My friend's father committed suicide—not necessarily because of the bad feelings themselves—those were terrible—but because after he'd had a "high point" (he was bipolar), the thought of descending to a "low point" and crawling back out of it was just too damn much for him to contemplate anymore.

He's The Arishok, from Dragon Age 2. Great character.

Still my favourite celebrity voice in a game. I have a statue of Lucan that says stuff, and I will often just let it play while I'm decorating in my house, simply to listen to Christopher Lee be awesome.

I know it's a game, but the voice actor behind this guy needs to be put in everything. He was amazing; one of the voice performances that just blew me away.

I'm sad to hear this. Vanguard was incredibly hard at times (and incredibly spooky at night—that dark was DARK), but I enjoyed the diplomacy aspect of the game.
