Oh forgot to mention, he and I loosely kept in touch. He bought a white 2004 a year later, he missed the car so much he had to find another. I should really email him that I’ve still got the first one.
Bummer I missed this one on the initial post. Here’s my deal.
No longer living there, but back in Hawaii we had a guy who had 4-5 of those things at any given time. He raced the snot out of them, rally, solo etc... And yes that’s a miata in the background. The founder type guy of rallyx hawaii is a total miata nut and a great guy. He would bring 2 or 3 craigslist cheapo…
I love MG’s in general, but it’s hard to argue almost $6K for this when there is one for sale a few blocks away from me for a bit less. Granted it’s an MGB, but it looks like the rotary swap work was done well. It’s been for sale for about 6 months or so at this point, probably get him down to 4K
damnit I had something for this :D
I ‘member
Awesome.
First of all, great handle and awesome choice of vehicle. I love my AP1.
way cool. I’ve emailed with their race staff a few times over the years and it seems they love the idea of webcasting but that the costs vs ROI may just be too great. In this day and age you can broadcast anything from anywhere, it just takes money. But in order to spend money they need to see a return via the obvious…
Sadly the PPIHC doesn’t seem to have a stream. I work in broadcast on those sorts of events. Red Bull picked it up a couple years ago but it was a broadcast disaster because the equipment suppliers didn’t do it right and lost the helicopter feed, lost the other mountain feeds etc...
