There’s plenty of cars without airbags that are street legal, and plenty of cars legal in the US that haven’t been crash tested. This isn’t fundamentally much different, and it’s legal:

Disagree, but find that automakers rarely put a tall final gear as an od.

In a sports car, more gears mean slightly better acceleration (if your car allows quick shifts) for a better 0-60. Plus, fun to row through more gears.

In an econobox it can allow for a taller 6th gear for quiet highway cruising/fuel mileage. Read more

In my opinion, that ad was not “promoting irresponsible driving”... it was just gross! So disgusting that I couldn’t stand watching it to the end. One of the stupidest ads I’ve seen since ever!
