I just had to replace all 4 rotors, 2 calipers and 4 sets of pads this year for inspection. I also had to replace a control arm and two tie rod ends. Old cars are a pain in the ass but not having a car payment is great. I am just glad I am capable of doing the work myself. It saves a ton of money.

I had a 1995 with about 2 million miles on it (174k) that I beat around and I had a 1997 that was cherry which I sold along with an Evo to put a down payment on my house. Having kids really changes your priorities.
