The death of David Berman [1967-2019] of Silver Jews fame, was definitely a sad heart-breaker. Had ticket to see DCB & group, now going by the band moniker Purple Mountains, in Philadelphia. A few days before said show, Berman took his life. Was his second suicide attempt. Would’ve been 3rd time seeing DCB in concert.
