And you’d be wrong. The argument for the Senate was the disparity in population between the states that were being asked to unite under one central government. The Senate helped to guarantee that each state would have representation since they’re equal parts of the whole.

Because we are Republic and federation of states. The states are not divided evenly by population but they are self-governing and it isa protection against tyranny of a majority.

That entire show is great, but I think that bit is my all-time favorite of his.
