I’ve never had headaches from them. But I was chatting like a coke fiend after half a can.

See my separate comment-
The designers said the lower aero resistance was the reasoning for this design- so as to compete with more powerful cars.
I cant remember whether the tyres gave more or less grip (or other characteristics

Does anyone remember the TV doco about this car? It was made by BBC in the 70s or 80s i think?

I don’t think it had so much to do with contact with the ground and more about minimizing dirty air to the rear wing (by having smaller front wheels). To quote The Wikipedia:

I understand the student debt argument, but who the hell keeps telling these kids that spending $50k per year to some tiny private school for some bullshit degree is a good investment?

I had one of these as a rental in Hawaii in 2016. I’ve driven many shitbox cars, but this vehicle was absolutely the worst.

I’m late on this, but I once told the shareholders that I had lots of new designs and models coming out.

I think yours needs some tuning up. Bleed the steering, replace and bleed the clutch, drain the trans and give it some fresh oil, and tighten all the shift linkages.

Yeah, I don’t understand the point of this engine. It has the same power output as a 2.3l inline-4. Why develop specialized tooling and additional complexity if you’re not even getting any more power out of it?

Ha ha... So so true :Volvo 5 diesel biturbo here (check D5 205hp).. Getting toasted by 2.0 diesel VWs and having worse fuel economy than previous bimmer 330D...

Which means they’re definitely coming out with an electric supercar in 5 years.

You’re not KenM

Nice to know you have complete knowledge of all the tasks these employees do and the quality of their work. That’s impressive.

Just as the airport restaurant can raise their prices, and refuse to sell you a hamburger for the old, lower price, so too can workers refuse to work until they receive a higher price for their work. That’s what a strike is.

Funnily enough, striking is recognized as a basic right in other countries. But I take it concepts like leverage are lost to you and you believe that holding employees hostage is perfectly ok.

oh yeah, the guy making $6 an hour to load an airplane in -40 weather is just the greediest jerk alive.

If your employees are able to stop work and hold you hostage you should probably pay them more. If it doesn’t significantly impact your business you have more leverage to negotiate, if your business is significanly impacted then their skills are worth more than you are paying them. Labor markets aren’t always open

That rear handle has got to be photoshopped, yo.

This post is exactly what I was going to come and suggest they do with the brand. Above all else Lancia has always been the innovative brand, a fully electric range would suit them.
