GTO owner, came here to say this. The only sub $10k GTOs on the market are 2004 models with lower power, automatic transmission, with high miles. The GTOs to have (M6) are 2005-2006, T56 manual, 400HP LS2. Expect to pay $13-18k, even $20k for the unicorns.

I agree. There isn’t a decent example for less than $15k near Los Angeles. 150k+ miles with a salvage title, yes. I know California is more expensive, but a halfway decent example is still mid-teens. Good luck finding a 2006 GTO under 10k that isn’t a piece of shit. That one may look clean, but it has 160k, has been in an accident, and has a rebuilt motor (can be good or bad.) Every used GTO is sold by someone who thinks their car is worth twice what it actually is.
