I’m not trying to undermine it, in fact quite the opposite. I think it’s amazing. I’m pointing out that she did something all the others could have, but didn’t - take a different line. She may visualize the Super-G course different than those that specialize in that type of race, as a result of her specialty. They…

And skiing not being her primary sport may have helped her. Had she taken all of the traditional lines, she may have been much slower. Yet she challenged the course like nobody else did, which did hurt her in a couple of near mistakes, yet still ended up faster at the end.
