I’m starting to think that, assuming it happens, she won’t be able to afford to see her grandkids. $7000 just to get in the door, and don’t try and talk it down to $5000. Or this Miata can be used as a down payment on that future date.

After seeing his daughter had tweeted that it was coming up for auction, I got lost down a rabbit hole. It looks like his son in law was pretty active in forums (bimmerforums was one of them) when they took over the car. There’s a lot of post history that can give some more insight into the things that needed fixing.

I was expecting to hear a Rock Cobbler cover of the B52's Rock Lobster when he reached the top.

...and any sport that can only be appreciated by those who watch “year round,” and only show up on my television every four years, shouldn’t be on at all. Now excuse me while I watch biathlon, which I don’t watch year round, and only shows up every four years.

His extra long 3rd leg?

What about the wiring? Isn’t this one of the years that is notorious for Mission Impossible wiring (self destructs), and then needs complete wiring harnesses?

Because Tebow hasn’t been moved yet, and nothing else is happening in baseball other than alluded-to collusion.

A scrub baseball prospect - he and Tim Tebow have similar BA with Tebow having about 180 more AB’s.

Actually, his name is Sam Adkins, yet he still remains unknown.

Edgar was a successful DH for 10 years (95-04), which was the result of an injury. He started as a 3B and played some in the field for interleague games afterwards. While a 3rd baseman, prior to his injury in 94, he’d already had a batting title, lead the league in doubles, and stole 14 bases in the same season.

And when Uber first started in the Seattle area, only the Black cars could pick up at the airport. Due to them having different licensing, this was allowed. SeaTac already only allows one cab company to hold the pick-up contract at the airport. But smart Uber riders figured out they could take a sky bridge across Intl

I just read the fine print - “up to a maximum of $6 per ride.” So it’s only 50% on an UberX ride that’s $12 or less.

When I started taking Uber, around five years ago, on the front page of the webpage it stated that you do not tip with Uber. At that point, it was still a good deal and the drivers were paid better. Slowly it went from “do not tip,” to “driver initially will turn down tip but will, but will take it... if you insist”

She lost?

I guess that depends on if you mean rear (no) or side rear, like the original.

My guess would be the non-Grand National version of the Turbo Regal.
