When I started taking Uber, around five years ago, on the front page of the webpage it stated that you do not tip with Uber. At that point, it was still a good deal and the drivers were paid better. Slowly it went from “do not tip,” to “driver initially will turn down tip but will, but will take it... if you insist”…
