I just want to mention I did not use that solid alliteration “Quixotic quest” intentionally.
Look, man, I could care less whether people say it correctly. But it’s the flaw in logic itself that bothers me, though perhaps not as much as you think it does. It’s not as if I’m on some Quixotic quest to eradicate the use of the colloquialism.
If that were the case, they’d pay for it happily.
Lol Ruby Tuesday’s.
Oh my God, SHE is responsible. Unless someone can provide a convincing argument that a 19-year old does not know drinking and driving is stupid and wrong.
This pleases me.
To be disgusting?
I know; that’s exactly my issue.
Holy cow, dude. First of all, if we eliminate tipping it will only be because servers make a reasonable wage, so food prices will just go up to compensate restaurant owners.
Source is this guy’s cheap-ass head, until he joined the internet and heard from reasonable people.
Oh well yeah, I know better than to correct my wife on nonsense like that, unless she’s like actually using a phrase incorrectly. TBH, I really only do it on the internet because it seems like general knowledge (salutes) that it’s all in good fun.
Something has to be missing here, even if it’s as simple as it was a couple of dudes who hit on her and she burned them, I don’t see how anyone can be “such nice people” then do that with no warning.

They are becoming less connected with alcohol generally...
In my experience beer loyalty is certainly not dead. The vast majority of people I know who are into craft beer still have a go-to at any bar, and it’s usually Big Ditch Hayburner. I think it just seems like loyalty has gone out the window because there is sooooo much more choice out there now that you could have ten…
I can’t imagine any of this would be of note in the Australian league. Aussies are born shit talkers.
Honestly, if you’ve got the Xbox One S, it’s worth upgrading just for HDR. When you watch an Amazon show like The Grand Tour, or a Marvel movie, particularly Thor: Ragnarok, the difference is worth every penny.
I can agree that buying an 8K TV right now would be foolish. But to “not be on board” with 8K because they’re expensive and there’s no content makes no sense. Content and price drops follow the popularity of the sets. It was the same with 1080p, it was the same with 4K, it was the same with blu-ray, DVD, streaming,…
