This item in the game does not resemble a shofar (other than the fact both are horns, which is hardly somehow unique to Judaism) nor does it reference any sort of anti semitic violence.

Ironically, were it not for Rowling, the game’s content would have made it ripe for being smeared as “woke.” 

The game is… fine! It’s nothing that will push the form forward but it’s nice to look at and engaging enough to be a diversion for a while.

I don’t know if this is controversial yet brave, but I thought the worst part of Gen 7 were the fucking Ultra Beasts. While feeling out of place was ostensibly the point of them, they were too successful in that regard - they truly felt dropped in from another series, and the lore supporting them was really out there…

The concept of institutional knowledge is deeply undervalued by these corporations. It’s good to have employees who have been there for a while and know not only how things work, but also the history behind processes and decision making. 

There are a lot of red flags about DA4, generally, but I don’t think this alpha footage is one. I’m just glad they actually have a working game at this point, and it seems basically in line with how the series was evolving in terms of combat.
