I don’t understand that theory. If anything, it seems like these remakes- which Gamefreak outsourced- exist more than anything to help boost Legends by reintroducing Sinnoh. Legends doesn’t look like it evolved from an enhanced remake at all.

I feel like a Geth return could end up explained with “Oh, a bunch of Geth had left the Milky Way to explore or whatever, missing the Crucible’s energy blast, and they came back to find their entire race annihilated.” Seems like an easy enough handwave that would seem to square with established canon without too much…
JAJ’s Trump is technically very good, and obviously leagues better than Baldwin’s take... but for me, Anthony Atamanuik still reigns supreme for his Trump, which he was able to turn into a fully realized character that was different enough from the real person to offer a more engaging point of view.
I did read it. Did you….? She says she lost jobs based off of her name- that is a separate issue from the harassment. That’s what I needed some clarification on.
Is she a family-friendly gamer? Why would she be losing opportunities based off of a perceived affiliation with a massively popular show?
They should just quietly put this game down and try to remind everyone that Guardians of the Galaxy is out and is really great.
Where there’s smoke, there’s fire, so I’m guessing it’s a full on inferno over at Blizzard these days.
why do most defenses of NFTs just boil down to circular logic like “it’s innovative because it’s innovative!” and indications that these people do not seem to have ever interacted with reality in a meaningful way?
But Proof of Stake will just further allow the currency to be manipulated by a few extremely wealthy individuals who own the majority of the share. These are already currencies that can rise and fall massively just because Elon Musk tweets something.
More manufacturing jobs!
Knowing the life cycle of these things nowadays, I’m sure some intrepid sleuth will discover that Jamie Costa posted something problematic somewhere ten years ago, and then the outrage mob will mobilize against him, ruin his life, and then we’ll never hear about him again.
This seems like a complaint that comes from the section of the fanbase that is devoted to making these games the least amount of fun possible.
Basically every trans person I know has a great sense of humor and regularly jokes about their transness. They have to, considering the amount of shit they have to deal with from the world. This isn’t an issue of a group deeming themselves off-limits for comedy. The issue here is that Chappelle’s jokes are rooted in…
Confused how anyone can say this offers nothing different from the Diamond/Pearl remakes. It’s offering an entirely different game. It’s got different gameplay mechanics from all the other main Pokémon games, it’s got entirely different characters, it’s got a different setting (despite being in the same region, it’s a…
Hopefully they put Platinum’s revised Pokémon distribution in these, since it made a massive difference (Platinum is probably my favorite Pokémon installment, from the viewpoint of Pokémon diversity).
The reveal is great! But, in my opinion, happens too early- roughly 2/3s of the way through the game. So what ends up happening is you swap one voice giving you orders for another voice giving you orders- but don’t worry, this time the voice you’re following is actually good this time for real we swear.
...what’s with the negative-skewing articles about this game on Kotaku? And lack of review?
A high school senior isn’t a child.
DEH was overpraised when it debuted onstage, coasting off of Platt’s performance and Pasek and Paul’s rising stars as songwriters (La La Land debuted around the same time as the show moved to Broadway). It won a slew of Tonys, over the wilder and more inventive Great Comet and better-at-feelgood Come From Away.
I am entirely in agreement with you. I played Alan Wake after playing and truly loving Control, and found it a real chore. The gameplay loop really is truly a grind that is never really satisfying, nor does it really meaningfully evolve over the course of the game. I found myself dreading the nighttime combat sections,…
