Yeah it was the stopping on the street (which cabs do ALL THE TIME anyways, even if they’re told not to), and requiring lyft/uber drivers to have an in service lamp.

I took a Lyft downtown Saturday night (after voting yes on the measure I may add) and the poor driver was absolutely sure it was going to pass. I felt bad telling him the early returns looked ominous and he couldn’t believe people would vote against it.

That’s how it used to be in the old days. I had a teacher in HS who raced snowmobiles in the winter and bikes in the summer in Michigan and canada, and used to see the villenueves up there, living out of a schoolbus, doing a lot of the same races, and cars when they got the chance.

I just watched the JOTA documentary on netflix. Dolan is a pretty interesting guy. Shame the clip didn’t show what caused it, it’s hard to see why it was their fault (although I’m guessing they closed the door with the nose of the other car in there.)
