Are you putting in the 6 speed? (I’m assuming it’s not a 540 or you’d be doing the timing chain guides adlnd VANOS at the same time).

Hahaha. They may have some really dumb design flaws at times, the timing chain guides in their v8's come to mind, but as a complete package they are exceptional cars. My 325 is my first bmw and I can seriously see owning many more over the years.

My brother just picked up an ‘02 M5, what a spectacular car. The prices keep on ticking upwards on them though. Under 18k and you’re already into potential nightmare territory.

I didn’t want to affect resale value so I can only drive it 200 yards before it overheats now (which isn’t a big deal because driving it without power steering sucks). Oh, and the windows are all stuck deep inside the doors. But it’s NUMBERS MATCHING.
