If your desire is approximately where mine is, look into plasti dip. I wanted a beat to hell Miata so I could repaint it without feeling bad, but fell in love with an S2000 that I didn’t want to soil. After learning about spray on/peel off coatings, I’ve got a whole new vector of car enthusiasm to dump all my money…

Re: #5 - Think of it as a rolling chassis you can drive home. It’s gotta be one of the better looking sleeper cars. We all know it sucks, so we don’t expect it to be any good. Replace the guts with something useful and make it drive pretty like it looks for 3-5 times the value of the car, and your fellow Jalops…
