Don’t fret, people call me rich sometimes too. They don’t seem to understand the difference between people who are capable of not overspending, and those that think they can buy a $60k car even if they’ve still got student loans, credit card debt, and a mortgage while making $60k/yr.
The worst was when I was convinced I knew that I didn’t know much, but found out that I was mistaken...turns out I knew less.
I know far too many people who ramp up to a plateau way too fast and never come down or move forward with gaining knowledge.
