Your van sounds awesome. If I didn’t already have a good boxy hauler (Flex w/ awd and ecoboost), I’d probably go the same route as you.

I bet that Hemi is a blast.

I like reading this with the ‘,’ replaced by a ‘.’. Knowing that your minivan was better before SC makes me feel like you had a really well balanced minivan. Also, you’ve driven an FRS.

Perhaps the experience is much like the Toyabaru twins. Everyone whines there’s not enough power, but those who have actually driven one say it’s all good.

Totally valid point, particularly in light of the fact that nobody buying a Prowler is doing so to win drag races. But how did it handle through the corners?

You’re right...a 2jz would have been better, and probably fit. Toss a couple turbos on it. If Chrysler can’t build a good engine, perhaps they should source one that is.

Nothing, but it looks like it should be able to hang with street rods and Vipers. Instead it’d be a challenge to keep up with an ‘04 Accord Coupe (5.8 0-60). Also, if you’re building an open top sports car and not offering a manual, that’s just awful.

She turned me into a newt!

so...can we drown the witch then?

Came here to say this. That’s some serious dehydration or infection if your pee is that dark.

Really, the flywhell and diff are the big differences. It’s easier to get the AP1 to start stepping the back end out, but it’s easier to control how the AP2 does it, so it’s more of a preference of how much you’d like to have the car feel like it’s trying to kill you.

It’s funny too, I frequently see cars that I want real bad to get as a replacement (Alfa 4c, the new Miata, etc.), but they all fall short of the S in some critical category that I can’t let slide. I think the only thing the S is the best at is making your day a little happier.

If it helps, I went to Exotics Racing a few years after I bought my S expecting to have my love of the car knocked down a couple pegs. After all, how could it compete with a Scuderia and a Gallardo? The Gallardo got my adrenaline through the roof and was amazing, and the Scuderia was basically like a much more well

Honda S2000. Purchased to satisfy my desire for a convertible (I was shopping for a Miata, but fell in love with the S), I expected to have this car for 3-5 years ‘till I got tired of sunburns and a ‘sporty’ ride. I still haven’t found a replacement car, and I don’t really expect to ‘till the next Tesla Roadster hits

Zero, brand loyalty is for chumps.

The crosscab! I want a convertible! I want an SUV! I want a (questionably) better interior build quality than a Jeep! I want it to look like a Z that couldn’t stop hitting up the buffet!

That nose looks so much better than the old one. Still want a powered rag top though. I know, it’s whiny and against the racing ethos, but I just like a good convertible.

You’ve killed my desire to pony up the $1000 or so for an Alcantara interior. The carpet is worth through though, and the leather seats are starting to crack (15 years of Texas heat hurts sooooo good).

You’d probably still want to use props for the VTOL, but I see no reason you couldn’t add a jet for cruising...except the pesky props at that point...probably requires engineering from someone who knows what they’re doing.

Which company, and can I get one in Austin?
